CSA Recipe Week 12- Garlicky Braised Kale

Garlicky Braised Kale

1 Bunch Curly or Lacinato Kale, chopped, rinsed and drained
2-6 cloves garlic, minced (depending on how garlicky you like it)
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Crushed red pepper, optional

Heat olive oil in large sauté pan over medium heat, add garlic and cook until fragrant, stirring frequently, about 3 minutes. Add the kale and cover, stir every 2 minutes or so to insure even wilting. Add salt and pepper to taste, and red pepper for spice. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Serve with anything you like!
