Although there will be no CSA at Pachamama Farm in 2015, the following is a description of what shares have been like during the past three seasons.
A full CSA share generally receives about 40 different types of vegetables and herbs over the course of the summer and fall. Share contents change throughout the season: late spring is heavy on tender greens and small root vegetables, while mid-summer brings beans, summer squash, cucumbers and tomatoes. A fall share will be filled with hearty roots, dark greens, and winter squashes. Below is a general list of what may be available at different times during the season.
Arugula, Asian Greens, Basil, Beans, Beets, Carrots, Cilantro, Chives, Garlic Scapes, Lettuces, Mustard Greens, Radishes, Salad Mix, Scallions, Summer Squash, Swiss Chard, Turnips.
