After months of pruning and trellising, these beloved fruits have come on. Their vines are set with loads of fruit, and this glorious sunshine is ripening them up.

This week we planted three varieties of onions for our CSA members. A yellow cooking onion called Dakota Tears, a beautiful pink Italian variety called Rosso di Milano, and green bunching onions for early harvesting. Now we let the rain and sun do the work.
All of the wood we harvested from our wooded drumlin this off-season…money in the bank for heat next winter. Ben did all the felling, blocking, and most of the splitting. Our friend Nate has been a huge help in hauling the felled trees from the woods and splitting much of it as well.
